Pay Rate: $85,000-95,000 annually.
SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our facility. As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and systems, implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and managing a team of maintenance technicians.

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and systems, implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and managing a team of maintenance technicians.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing leadership, guidance, and training to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and develop plans for their resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair history, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts.
- Lead the understanding and implementation of reliability-centered maintenance principles and techniques.
- Planning and implementation of departments or plant wide outages.
- Project leadership of key improvement projects as assigned.
- Technical support to operations as requested.
- In-house maintenance and contractor personnel management.
- Manage CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
- Create and manage SM (Scheduled maintenance) program
- Check functionality of all building systems
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (Maintenance, WWT operators, Clerk & Custodians)
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
- Monitor expenses budget for maintenance
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily and weekly activities
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervises 12-16 employees within the maintenance and wastewater treatment departments.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Manage payroll for hourly team members in ADP
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial roles
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, operating systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.

- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds / frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds / continually lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
