Position Title: Maintenance Manager
Salary: $159,759 - $198,104 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week
Summary of Duties:
Responsible for developing and implementing engineering maintenance strategy to maximize the company assets and facilities performance. Extend the production equipment needed lifetime, availability, and reliability to produce goods with safety, highly quality in the time required by customers, and under the spending boundaries that lets stockholders have a profitable business and adequate costs of operation. The position will be responsible for managing maintenance schedules and budgets; delivering planned and property maintenance; managing a team of multi-disciplined maintenance technicians; planning, directing, and controlling the efforts of the Maintenance Team; ensuring that all electrical equipment is in safe working order in line with current regulations; ensuring that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation; designing maintenance programs; developing the efficient energy usage program; delegating work responsibilities; recording daily maintenance activity; mentoring inexperienced or new employees; developing and implementing the energy quality and electrical net reliability protection plan; and running an efficient repairs reporting system.
Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline and five (5) years of experience in the same role (Maintenance Manager), as a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, or in a related role. The position requires experience with the following: Manager Plus maintenance system; business management leadership skills; Predictive, MTBF, and MTTR experience; OEE management; maintenance management; awareness of modern maintenance techniques; a good understanding of extrusion process, aluminum foundry, and building services; superb leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills; managing maintenance budgets and controlling costs; and knowledge of building codes, laws, and regulations. Knowledge in high pressure hydraulic systems; extrusion presses; natural gas combustion systems such as age ovens, billet heaters, foundry furnaces, homogenizers furnaces, bake and dry ovens for liquid paint systems; PLCs Allen Bradley; VFD replacement and programming; mechanical systems for power transmission such as gear boxes, conveyors, and rack and pinion systems; electricity; electronics and automation devices; HVAC systems such as cooling towers, air-air chillers, and absorbers; CMMS systems; problem solving methodologies such as RCA, 5 whys, 8D, and Six sigma (DEMAIC) Ishikawa diagrams; RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) methodology such as AMEF and reliability metrics; predictive technologies such as infrared thermography, ultrasound, mechanical vibrations, megger, PDMA, and oil analysis; safety protocols for maintenance activities; LOTO; Fall prevention; confines spaces; and mobile equipment. Skills may be gained pre- or post- Bachelor's degree.
