Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. The opportunity comes with a 47-year old privately held business that is in a phase of growth, actively seeking talent to continue to improve on a successful department. Much of the existing equipment has been completely rebuilt and many new pieces of equipment have been added over the last 4 years. We are lucky to have tenured maintenance technicians and strong support from outside contractors & our other facilities. Aluminum Extrusion maintenance experience is preferred but not a requirement.
Responsibilities:
Supervising a team of up to 16 maintenance technicians, a maintenance planner, and parts purchaser.
Planning scheduled maintenance shutdowns
Working with production to improve processes
Ensuring PM's are being completed properly and timely.
Continuing to build CMMS system with new PMs and mean time between failure analysis
Improving spare part storage and management
Organizing contractors for projects
Requirements
Education: Preferred degree in engineering or industrial maintenance.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance leadership role in manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience with drives, PLCs, and HMIs is preferred
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage the maintenance team and collaborate with other departments.
Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Safety Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations for manufacturing environments to ensure a safe working environment.
