The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for prioritizing, directing and overseeing the line maintenance mechanics in providing operational up time of all production processes, packaging and support equipment on a day-to-day basis at the Riverside facility. Additionally, this role will support cross functionally all operational departments on special projects, and customer technical requests as well as on-going safety and compliance programs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $95,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for prioritizing, directing and overseeing the line maintenance mechanics in providing operational up time of all production processes, packaging and support equipment on a day-to-day basis at the Riverside facility. Additionally, this role will support cross functionally all operational departments on special projects, and customer technical requests as well as on-going safety and compliance programs.
Key Responsibility:
- Engages and manages the line mechanics daily on technical support and troubleshooting of machinery breakdowns and downtime problem solving
- Contributes to equipment optimization of the production workflow to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Develops and improves manufacturing processes by monitoring production processes and adjusting parameters to maintain optimal performance.
- Coordinates machine mechanics on performing per a scheduled Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program to drive reliability
- Identifies and assigns maintenance projects focused on reducing equipment downtime and operating costs
- Oversees and implements machine upgrades, installations and related capital projects to ensure maintenance team's ability to execute on daily production, projects and drive results
- Provides training, coaching, performance planning, and feedback to develop direct reports and skill set depth
- Actively participates and supports continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen Problem Solving and Rapid Improvement events
- Collects and analyzes production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Contributes to the development and management of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance
- Ensures team compliance with all applicable environmental, health, safety, and industrial regulations
- Other duties may apply as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in a related field preferred
- 7+ years of experience in plant maintenance / engineering leadership role with proven leadership, ability to influence, & motivate others to excel
- Experience leading and driving change and utilizing lean tools
- Able to travel (US / Canada)
- Experience with implementing and coordinating a TPM program
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
