Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Optimize memory, ASIC, and product configurations to meet performance requirements
  • Understand 3D NAND defect mechanisms and mNAND System error recovery features
  • Provide technical development and innovations as applicable to your products.
  • Collaborate with Managed NAND system design and eco system teams to develop eMMC/UFS production system test suites for best-in-class market introduction
  • Identify Customers, handle expectations and set-up of communication channels
  • Lead Program Teams and Stakeholders to drive closure of NPI products, through the design process to product qualification
  • Lead the critical review among NVEG leaders, update development KPI, present project status, risk and scope in PDT meetings and CPR
  • Review metrics of each development team and work out project metrics starting from them
  • Define scope, goals and results that support business goals in collaboration with sponsors and customers
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts
  • Communicate program expectations to the team and customers
  • Maintain program support through interaction with senior leaders
  • Lead program definition and approval
  • Control and monitor Project Scope and Risk.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Implement, Monitor/Control and Close Programs
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations


Education:

Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred
  • Engineering - Electronics
  • Related field of study


Qualifications:

5+ years proven experience in a multi-functional development position within Managed NAND or an SSD Engineering function. Candidate must have a broad view of Firmware, Validation, Process and experience working with our BU teams.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and leadership skills
  • Work independently in a very fast-paced environment and adapt to daily changes
  • Investigate root-cause and provide corrective action for system inefficiencies
  • Attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and balance multiple projects
  • High degree of self-initiative and ability to think and act independently
  • Work under tight timeframes and prioritize ongoing activities
  • Good multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate well with team members and work towards results
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, results, and resource requirements
  • Travel Required - Minimal
