THE POSITION
Washington County's Department of Land Use and Transportation is recruiting a Management Analyst II!

The Position
This position is in the Administrative Services division of the Department of Land Use and Transportation. The Management Analyst II will provide assistance to the Administrative Manager in a number of areas, including assisting with budget preparation and monitoring, cost allocation preparation, asset reporting, project cost accounting, and grant reconciliations. This position will document, update, and maintain our department's finance process and procedures. The selected applicant will prepare information for use and analysis, allowing for workflow optimization, and provide support allowing for redundancy and resiliency. In addition, this position will work in partnership with the LUT Leadership Team on strategic initiatives to achieve successful outcomes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration, statistics, accounting, or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities; AND two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience in administrative, operations, or similar analyses. OR
  • Associate Degree in public or business administration, statistics, accounting, or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities; AND four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience in administrative, operations, or similar analyses. OR
  • High School Diploma/GED; AND six (6) years of progressively responsible work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, and similar analyses, of which at least two (2) years of this experience is in the public sector for a medium or large governmental unit.
