Manager - Warehouse & Logistics

• Position Summary
  
  • The Manager - Warehouse & Logistics is responsible for the operation of the inventory/distribution and delivery system at Maine Medical Center (MMC), as well as the Copy Center/Mailroom. Additionally, this position is the implementer/manager for new processes and programs that come from Materials Management throughout MMC.
• Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  
  • Education: Knowledge of purchasing, inventory, basic accounting and finance theories and applications, distribution, ability to perform budgeting functions at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or other closely related field.
  • License/Certifications: N/A
  • Experience: Five to seven years' progressively increasing responsibilities in the distribution industry. P&L responsibilities.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and resolve problems with supervisory personnel from user departments.
  • Analytical skills necessary to recommend operating procedures, propose budgets, develop departmental goals and objectives, monitor inventory control, distribution, receiving and vehicle fleet management.
