Based on ranking criteria of volume, number of associates, process complexity, and warehouse functionsthis role will manage at a level 3 warehouse distribution/combo center.What your day will look like:Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable lawsInterview, hire, and train associatesPlan, assign, and direct workAppraise performanceAddress complaints and resolve problemsBuilds positive associate moraleCoordinates all warehouse distribution, loading, shipping functions, inventory control, finance, facility management, safety, and partnership with manufacturing, quality assurance, transportation, fleet, demand planning, and innovation, and sales teamsReviews processes and metrics to improve warehouse operations efficiencies and reduce costManages and maintains responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of subordinate managers and supervisors who manage associatesAnalyzes key performance indicators and develops new ones for the manufacturing and distribution operations to improve efficienciesResponsible for establishing long-term and short-term goals and assists in the preparation process for Capex and operation budgetsTrain associates on OSHA, environmental monthly trainings and ensure regulations are being metMaintains an open-door policy and spends time talking with associates at their job on a regular basisPerforms appropriate duties as assigned by managementWhat you need to succeed:Minimum age 18 years oldValid driver?s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policyPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelinesAbility to maintain safety and security of Company assetsAbility to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyStrong leadership and organizational skillsProven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associatesBachelor?s degree (B.
