Job Overview

Come change the world with us! We are seeking a Manager, B2B Strategic Sales and Marketing, to help drive performance of a growing team of B2B Sales Account Managers. Help us expand our network and bring Sail Internet's 5-Star rated high speed internet service to businesses throughout the Bay Area! In this role you will apply your proven expertise managing a strong/successful sales team, as well as develop relationships with Channels, including Wholesale, Managed Service Providers.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage a team of B2B Sales Account Managers who are selling to businesses in the Bay Area.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with Channels, including Agents, Wholesale, and select MSP's.
  • Liaison with in-house marketing team to build marketing programs targeting B2B customers.
  • Close business internet service agreements with businesses that generate new revenue for Sail Internet.
  • Drive performance of the B2B Strategic Sales Team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual target objectives.
  • Partner with other cross-functional organizations within Sail Internet to achieve objectives.
  • Develop and execute territory action plans
  • Provide timely reports and updates on opportunity pipelines and forecast.
  • Represent Sail Internet's products and services in a clear and defined way.
  • Work with Engineering and Marketing to identify and grow pipeline of target opportunities.
  • Engage in conversations with decision makers towards obtaining signed agreements.

Qualifications - Required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years sales and business development experience selling B2B.
  • 5+ years collaborating with third-party sales organizations.
  • 2+ years managing a team of strategic outside sales professionals.
  • Results and goal oriented, entrepreneurial and a team player.
  • Proven and demonstrable track record of achieving quotas or goals in tech, internet services or real estate.
  • Proficiency in structuring and closing complex deals involving multiple dependencies.
  • Exceptional and building long term business relationships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and other software tools.
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving, high growth environment.
  • You must be able to work as a team player in a cross functional environment.
  • Personal integrity.
  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills.
