For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $ $125,600.00 and $ $188,300.00. The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

- Manage and lead the system design and development of features and components within your team to meet the needs of the business in agile world.
- Manage the responsibility for production services and ensuring they remain stable.
- Enable the cohesive environment for developing your team's technical skills, and capabilities.
- Work closely with the product owner and business stack holders on planning cycle and roadmaps.
- Manage and leading the design and development within your team to meet the needs of the business which includes code quality and test coverage.
- Recommend development priorities, taking into account both commercial benefit, and engineering risks.
- Work in a global team that is spread across time zones.
- Act as enabler to adopt to the new best practices, processes, operating model, techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies.

You'll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
Essential Experience
- Proven experience managing and building cloud based scaled solutions
- Interacting at executive level within the business as well as technology
- Lead and drive operational excellence on business systems and providing guidance to development teams to ensure quality technical deliverables
- Experience with cloud billing and cost optimization
- Be able to deliver outcomes using Agile and DevOps tools and concepts.
- Be able to champion new ways of working, products and services and / or technology capability against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies
- Take accountability for the quality and availability of the services that the team owns
- Be comfortable working in a team environment across geographies and working under pressure with challenging timelines
- Be passionate about data and seeking business led outcomes with a focus on continuoes improvement
Nice to Have
- Experience in Financial Services
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Cloud platform like Google Cloud Platform
- Cloud based data technology, Python Frameworks, Design Patterns and Object Oriented Concepts
- Utilization of Python for data analytics, visualization and cloud client libraries is an advantage
- Programming skills for building and consuming APIs, particularly in languages like Python, PySpark, SQL, and Apache Airflow
- Data Visualization tools like Google Cloud Data studio, QlikSense and Looker
- DevOps Tooling: GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, CheckMax and Nexus
- Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint, AppDynamics and Selenium
