The Manager of Clinical Excellence will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical quality, operational efficiency, and compliance in ambulatory cardiac monitoring (Holter, Event, and MCT studies). This individual will lead initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency, data accuracy, and patient safety, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the utilization of wearable cardiac monitoring technology.

Responsibilities
Clinical Operations & Quality Leadership
- Oversee and optimize the clinical operations of ambulatory cardiac monitoring, ensuring accurate and timely Holter, Event, and MCT data analysis.
- Develop and implement best practices for arrhythmia detection, report generation, and data management to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements for remote cardiac monitoring services.
- Conduct root cause analysis on clinical discrepancies and drive corrective actions to enhance patient outcomes.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics (KPIs) to track efficiency, reporting accuracy, and overall quality of cardiac monitoring services.
Process Optimization & Technology Integration
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance the speed and accuracy of Holter, Event, and MCT study interpretations.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to optimize software features that support clinical workflows in ambulatory monitoring.
- Leverage data analytics to drive decision-making, identify trends in cardiac monitoring, and improve patient outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training
- Partner with clinical, product, and engineering teams to ensure that wearable cardiac monitors align with industry best practices.
- Act as a liaison between clinicians and technical teams, ensuring that software solutions support real-world clinical needs.
- Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff, focusing on ECG analysis, arrhythmia identification, and reporting best practices.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of clinical specialists, cardiac technicians, and monitoring staff.
Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and FDA regulations related to ambulatory cardiac monitoring and remote patient data management.
- Maintain accreditation standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AHA, or other regulatory requirements) for quality assurance in cardiac monitoring services.
- Stay informed on emerging regulations and trends in ambulatory monitoring, ensuring Octagos remains an industry leader.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Nursing, Cardiac Technology, Biomedical Engineering, care Administration, or related field).
- 5+ years of clinical experience in ambulatory cardiac monitoring (Holter, Event, or MCT studies).
- 3+ years of leadership experience in clinical operations, remote cardiac monitoring, or care technology.
- CCT certification is required and IBHRE certifications are encouraged.
- Deep understanding of arrhythmia detection, ECG interpretation, and remote cardiac monitoring workflows.
- Experience in process improvement, operational efficiency, and clinical workflow optimization.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
