Description:
Morton Comprehensive Health Services team of providers and support staff are goal oriented to provide the best care to our patients, with the patient's well-being our top priority.
Lead the laboratory and pathology services' technical, clinical, and operational aspects. Monitor test results, equipment, and laboratory information systems. Perform, assist, and support functions within the laboratory as needed. Design/evaluate processes to ensure high reliable standard laboratory services across the continuum of care. Provide and oversee training and competency and teach, promote and model effective communication for staff.

Job Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, chemical, physical or biological science from an accredited institution. An Associate's degree may be considered with 10+ years of demonstrated experience.

Job Qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in phlebotomy and complex laboratory testing.
- Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory agency requirements and professional practice standards, including CLIA, TJC, NCQA, AABB, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the function of a medical laboratory.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills are required in building programs to support and maintain medical staff, administrative and community relationships.
- Working knowledge of clinical computer systems, PC computer skills, and Microsoft Office tools.

- License, Certification, Registration
- MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), and/or MT(AMT).
