Reports to: Senior Manager, Clinical Systems

Purpose:

The Manager of Oncology Clinical Programs will have a key role in the development and leadership of clinical programs aimed at driving value, adherence and outcomes across oncology and precision medicine rare disease states. This role will require the Manager of Oncology Clinical Programs to work cross-functionally with internal operations team and Program Managers to develop solutions that exceed our manufacturer and patient expectations. The Manager of Clinical Programs will be directly involved with the development of clinical content, ongoing management, and enhancements to clinical services. The Manager of Oncology Clinical Programs will be responsible for analyzing current services to measure the incremental impact on the target population as well as incorporate feedback from internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing oncology, hematology, and precision medicine clinical programs by supporting internal and external stakeholders to drive optimal patient outcomes
  • Support the solutioning and development of new oncology, hematology and precision medicine clinical programs including design and execution of project plans to deliver cross-functional projects
  • Prepare materials and presentations that can be used to update, educate, and influence various stakeholders across the organization including clinical program status reports, programs dashboards, and clinical outcomes and insights
  • Independently manage multiple work streams and deliverables across the clinical department to support project and organization goals
  • Participate in PANTHERx's process to attract and win new oncology, hematology, and precision medicine opportunities
  • Serve as a mentor and preceptor in PANTHERx's Fellowship program and APPE student rotations
  • Report out on status, key findings, and recommendations to leadership team
  • Contribute to the collaborative, positive team environment
  • Identify and participate in research opportunities in the oncology, hematology, and precision medicine area
  • Represent PANTHERx at the state and national level for scientific meetings as necessary

Required Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited institution
  • Licensed or eligible for pharmacy licensure in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Board Certified in Oncology Pharmacy
  • High level of independent judgment, individual initiative, and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a manner that is clear, logical and consistent
  • Highest level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines.
  • At least 2-3 years of pharmacy experience in oncology

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep clinical knowledge base of oncology, hematology, and precision medicine
  • Previous experience developing, managing, and executing clinical programs
  • Minimum of 5 years as a practicing, licensed pharmacist
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams)

Work Environment:

This job operates primarily in a work from home environment. The work from home environment is expected to mirror a professional office environment with limited distractions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, Microsoft Teams or Zoom for professional video-on meetings. Occasional travel is expected (reimbursable travel) in addition to occasional in-office meetings (non-reimbursable travel).
