Title: Manager Research - Cardiology and Internal Medicine
Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital / Morton Plant Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Plans, develops and manages the conduct of clinical research. Supervises staff to meet the complex requirements of clinical research trials.
- Acts as an interdepartmental liaison for all research related activities.
- Negotiates contracts and budget with trial sponsors, external research agencies and investigators to ensure support for the research departments.
- Identifies opportunities for developmental growth and expansion.
- Provides strategic, tactical and operational management in the planning and execution of clinical trials.

Experience & Education Requirements:
- Required - Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business or Related Field and 5 years experience in Clinical Research and 2 years experience in a supervisory role
- Or - Associates Degree in Nursing and 7 years experience in Clinical Research and 2 years experience in a supervisory role
Certification:
- Required - Registered Nurse (State of Florida)
- Preferred - CCRC (Clinical Research)
