EveryMind Mental Health Services is currently recruiting for an experienced mental health professional with significant leadership experience in community healthcare for the position of Manager, Clinical Services.
EveryMind is an accredited child and youth mental health organization that provides a continuum of high-quality mental health services for children, youth and their families who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing mental health issues.
Summary of Function
Under the leadership of the Director, Clinical Services, the Manager is accountable for the effective delivery of services that are in keeping with the organization's mission, vision, values, clinical and management philosophies, accreditation standards, policies, procedures and annual Service Plan. This position forms part of the Clinical Management Team responsible for support of the clinical strategic direction, clinical decision-making and clinical policy development for EveryMind.
This portfolio is accountable to manage the organization's Brief Services (Tangerine Single Session Counselling and On Stop Talk), Counselling and Therapy Services, and 24/7 Crisis Support Services. The Manager is responsible for ensuring trauma-informed/trauma-specific, evidence-based/evidence-informed practices are integrated across services, with a focus on supporting children, youth and families with complex mental health needs, including concurrent mental health and substance use disorders. The incumbent is responsible for direct supervision of up to 7 direct reports, for indirect management of up to 90 front line staff and accountability for an annual operating budget of approximately $7.5 million.
Annual Salary: Hiring range $105,341- $113,937

Responsibilities
- Provides administrative and/or clinical oversight and direction to the program areas of responsibility working collaboratively and cooperatively across the agency to create an integrated operational service.
- Oversees clinical accountability for Key Performance Indicators and reporting compliance to funders using data dashboards and other reporting tools.
- Leads operational efficiency within assigned portfolio through providing oversight to program Supervisors and direct service staff.
- Ensures compliance with relevant legislation, accreditation standards, policies and procedures and implements changes in the same, if any, all Occupational Health and Safety and Infection & Prevention Control (IPAC) requirements
- Participates in Clinical on Call coverage roster. Manages approved budgets, staffing and allocated resources in order to achieve the desirable deliverables, targets, goals and objectives.
- In collaboration with the Director, provide input into the Organization's clinical services strategic planning and educational learning plans decision-making and policy formulation processes.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services through the integration of evidence informed/based practices and monitoring of program outcomes.
- Engages in continuous Quality Improvement activities to meet changing needs within both a virtual and in person operation framework in support of high-quality service provision.
- Contribute to the development of existing and new clinical services with a focus on growth for serving Marginalized and Racialized clients and their families
- Identify, develop, implement professional training and development programs to enhance skill, knowledge and professional development of clinical teams across the organization.
- Support and encourage further organizational development through implementing and overseeing quality standards from Accreditation Canada and other best practices in partnership with the System Planning and Accountability Department.
- Maintain an awareness of community needs for services within portfolio and participates in community meetings, funder meetings and professional groups as required.
- Actively represent the organization, build and maintain positive working relationships with funding agencies, external organizations, service agencies and stakeholders clearly communicating the organizations goals and future directions.
Knowledge, Education and Experience
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychotherapy, or other Health Professional Field with membership in the appropriate profession/regulated College.
- A minimum of seven years clinical experience, three of which must have been in a clinical leadership role, supervising a team of mental health professionals.
- Strong knowledge of children and youth mental health sector and the related legislation.
- Demonstrated understanding of child and youth development, family systems, trauma and concurrent disorders.
- Experience working with provincial government funders and funder's accountabilities.
- Must have strong understanding and knowledge of funder portals and reporting standards.
- Understanding and application of the ChYMH suite of Clinical Assessment Tools is an asset.
- Bilingualism in French and English is a definite asset.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop and articulate a clinical direction, gaining acceptance and buy-in of others to that direction.
- Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with others in terms of an integrated regional network of service delivery with other providers.
- Demonstrated ability to build cultural competence in clinical services and promote equitable and inclusive practices across the organization and its community partners
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook, virtual platforms and experience with client information databases and reports.
- Ability to do After Hours On call duties in rotation with Clinical Management Team
- Valid Ontario Driver's license (Class G) and use of a vehicle with a comfort in driving throughout the Peel region and surrounding areas.
- A Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical screening (including TB test, COVID-19 Vaccination, MMR, TD, Polio Vaccination), is required.
