Job Summary
The Manager, Category &Consumer Insights is responsible for conducting market research, analyzingbusiness insights, tracking competitive brands and products, studying retaileractivity / trends, reporting on POS performance via syndicated data tools, andproviding analytical support for market analysis and customer insights.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct internal reviews andexternal research on market strategies and overall category performance.
Provide holistic insights forReady products and competitive products by filling information gaps using avariety of sources.
Conduct retail data analysis toprovide explanations of market, retail, and customer data and proposerecommendations that enhance the competitive position for Ready.
Study and anticipate current / newproduct trends and segments for analysis.
Develop and maintain POS reporting templatesand systems for data compilation and analysis that leverage syndicated dataplatforms such as SPINS/IRI, Nielsen, and retailer reporting platforms.
Qualifications
Education:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, or a related field
Experience: Minimumof 7 years of data insight experience within brand management is required.
Experience usingSPINS or Nielsen reporting tools
Business insightsand analytical skills
Market researchand analysis
Understanding ofcustomer and consumer insights
Strong dataanalysis and interpretation skills
Experience withbusiness intelligence tools and data visualization
Excellentcommunication and presentation skills
Ability to workindependently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
