Job Summary
The Cost Accounting Manager will be a key member of the Accounting team that will provide the support for the monthly accounting close process mainly Inventory related and own some of daily functionality.

Job Summary
The Cost Accounting Manager will be a key member of the Accounting team that will provide the support for the monthly accounting close process mainly Inventory related and own some of daily functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Own the inventory balance and reconciliation by working closely with Operations and US Accounting team
- Oversee inventory at all locations including Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, and US.
- Help in forecasting inventory balances and helping to forecast of gross margins
- Work closely with Operations on inventory movements, purchases, and new product introductions
- Perform other month-end close activities including Purchase price variance, Yield Variances, Material Transfer
- Prepare journal entries and monthly balance sheets account reconciliations
- Maintain quarterly standard cost updates and provide variance analysis to management
- Assist with E&O Reserve
- Conducts physical inventory count globally including contract manufacturers in Taiwan, Thailand, US.
- Identify operational opportunities and implement best processes and practices.
- Assist with external and internal audits
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as required including system implementation
- Drive continuous improvement of business processes and system
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of cost accounting in manufacturing industry experience is required
- Semiconductor industry experience is plus
- Experience working with manufacturing personnel on the development and analysis of cost standards
- Experience working with global accounting or operations teams preferred
- Oracle Cloud experience is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong, advanced-level Excel skills; MS Word skills
- Team player and have the ability to work independently
