Opportunity
The Deductions Manager Order to Cash (O2C) reports directly into Global Delivery Lead (GDL) O2C within our Global Shared Service Centre and is responsible for managing the KBNA Deductions team (currently 3, looking to add more resource to this, subject to approvals) and will oversee and manage a high volume, high value deduction's portfolio. The ideal applicant will have experience in accounts receivable management, with an emphasis on deduction resolution.

The Deductions Manager Order to Cash (O2C) reports directly into Global Delivery Lead (GDL) O2C within our Global Shared Service Centre and is responsible for managing the KBNA Deductions team (currently 3, looking to add more resource to this, subject to approvals) and will oversee and manage a high volume, high value deduction's portfolio. The ideal applicant will have experience in accounts receivable management, with an emphasis on deduction resolution.
The Deductions Manager will collaborate with their team to:
- Process the deductions portfolio with mindset of the end-to-end processes, and customer centricity, driving improved performance & process, remedying service issues as they arise.
- Drive, push and achieve service delivery goals set.
- Proactively managing relationships with key business stakeholders, internal and external customers.
- This incumbent will work closely with the O2C GPO team & business teams to support driving global process standardization, transactional efficiency, organizational capability, and productivity within the team. The position assures that quality, operation, and customer satisfactions objectives are achieved.
Specific Responsibilities
- Manage the deduction resolution process for KBNA (Kitchen & Bath, NA) which includes recognizing, coding, investigating, and resolving deductions from customer accounts.
- Manages, coaches, leads, and develops talent to ensure high-performing talent, succession depth and diverse and inclusive teams.
- Utilizing Power Bi and other analytics available analyze deduction trends and work with the Credit, Sales, Customer service, and Logistics departments to mitigate future deductions.
- Collaborate with the Credit Department to maintain credit limits and examine credit holds associated with deductions.
- Keep meticulous records of all deductions, including supporting paperwork and correspondence history.
- Develop relevant deduction policies, processes, and procedures.
- Work alongside O2C GPO team & business teams to create and implement solutions to reduce the frequency of deductions while increasing overall deduction management efficiency.
- Work alongside O2C GPO team to Identify, prioritize, drive, and monitor continuous improvement related to the deductions processing to drive better business & customer outcomes.
- Support O2C GPO team in project work such as system implementation/ enhancement or business process change initiatives to the extent impacting deduction processes.
- Actively collaborate with team members to ensure adequate and timely root cause analysis to understand problem drivers and implementation of necessary corrections and/or changes.
- Identify and drive process automation including robotics for deductions processing
Skills/Requirements
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or General Management (Qualified by experience will be considered)
- Proven expertise (5 years) in accounts receivable management, with an emphasis on deductions.
- Proven expertise (5 years) in leading people globally either indirectly or directly.
- Strong knowledge of deduction codes, root cause analysis, and deduction resolution policies, processes & procedures.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to compile and evaluate complicated data and trends.
- Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed global environment. Shared Service experience desirable.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the capacity to interact across departments and with external customers.
- Expertise in ERP systems and deduction management software (such as SAP, and High Radius) or equivalent.
- Experience with implementation of RPA technologies within O2C desirable.
- Highly adept with the MS Office suite, including excellent skills in MS Excel.
- Meticulous, with a focus on accuracy and achieving deadlines.
- Ability to flourish in a fast-paced atmosphere and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
