The ideal candidate is articulate, technically minded, has strong business acumen, and excels in interpersonal skills to drive innovative analytics strategies that deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Role Summary:
The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of how web analytics tags are implemented and can provide strategic, industry leading best practices tied to website tracking implementations. A mindset to quickly troubleshoot analytics tag structures and call out any potential problem areas with a solution and detail-oriented mindset is key for this Digital Analytics Manager role. The individual will be serving as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and clients, delivering actionable insights and strategies across websites and marketing analytics. A strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and technical expertise is key to success in this role.

The maximum monthly salary range for this position is $5,416.67, with an annualized equivalent of $130,000.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Management and Implementation:
- Guide the development of tagging specifications, manage user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure high-quality data collection across web and media platforms.
- Create a testing roadmap, identifying opportunities to utilize structured marketing experiments to answer important business questions (ROAS, incrementality, investment allocation across audiences, channels, most effective ad formats/sizes, optimal frequency level, etc.)
- Manage the full media analytics cycle from concept to delivery, including programmatic, paid social, paid search and offline channels (TV, radio, print, etc.)
- Manage backend data workflows using automation software such as Alteryx to ensure clean, accurate datasets are used in reporting
- Understand business needs and lead the design and execution of cross-channel campaign measurement frameworks that will help clients achieve their goals
- Facilitate the integration of data into audience-centric media plans, informed by an in-depth understanding of our target
- Be the face of analytics to the clients. Present media insights and recommendations that are supported by data to internal teams and clients
- Develop a holistic view of campaign performance, working cross-functionally with teams to refine existing media strategy and inform future campaign development
- Provide data-driven actionable insights that inform advertising investment allocation and help identify high-potential audiences, channels, pubs and tactics to be activated and/or tested
- Provide ongoing accurate and timely reporting and analysis for clients and internal stakeholders, with a laser focus on adding value and improving media performance
- Use data visualization tools to elevate the reports and dashboards provided to clients, enhancing the quality of data visualizations, and ensuring we deliver information in the most effective manner
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, implementing strategies to automate data extraction and transformation flows using programming language
- Oversee the integration of data across lakes, marts, and customer data platforms (CDPs), with a strong emphasis on privacy and governance.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and implement best practices in data governance across all analytics processes.
Analytics Execution:
- Contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of A/B and multivariate testing programs.
- Deliver robust annual and quarterly forecasts using advanced statistical models, machine learning techniques, and business intelligence tools.
- Produce comprehensive reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau to present insights to executives and stakeholders.
Team Development:
- Mentor and develop analytics professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team environment.
- Work closely with team leads to drive consistency and excellence across client portfolios.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Economics or Business Analytics is preferred
- 4+ years of experience within media analytics, preferably in an agency environment. Experience managing direct reports.
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and tag management solutions (e.g., Adobe Tags, Google Tag Manager).
- Strong background in A/B testing (e.g., Adobe Target, Optimizely), CRO strategies, and advanced statistics.
- Demonstrated expertise in data strategy, architecture, configuration (e.g. Adobe's Marketing Channels and/or Google's Custom Channel Groups) and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau and Power BI).
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and ensuring the integrity of analytics implementations.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to lead, prioritize, and execute in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
