Description:
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the Proxima program release management strategy which includes the planning, development, coordination, and publication of the program release schedule. Act as the central point of contact within the Proxima program to assess and prioritize functionality that will be included in a product release. Partner with leadership to ensure visibility of the release schedule and alignment with all critical program owners/decision makers in alignment with program governance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate PI Planning, which guides the teams through the planning process and ensures that all necessary elements are clearly outlined.
- Coach members of the agile release team, such as delivery coaches, Project Managers, Product Owners and business stakeholders on the proper agile practices and methodologies.
- Assist teams with feature estimation and aggregation of estimates for larger pieced of work like capabilities and epics by planning and ensuring the vision, roadmap, and program backlogs are actively tracked.
- Manage the end-to-end release management process (i.e., business sign-off on requirements, deployment readiness, release notes, etc.)
- Actively manage cross-functional activities, risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.
- Ensure all product releases are planned according to business requirements and budget.
- Schedule release readiness reviews prior to deployment and critical milestones to validate readiness for deployment and organizational adoption.
- Collaborate with Organizational Change Management workstream leader on critical milestones, details and functional awareness for communication strategies regarding the program delivery.
- Maintain and publish release schedules.
- Report on the status of releases, organizing required input from program workstreams as required.
- Management of risks encountered throughout software delivery lifecycle.
- Coordinate required resources in support of release plans and schedules.
- Manage compliance and audit processes.
- Oversee cutover activities for new release versions.
- Continuous development and oversight of release processes.
- Perform additional job related duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years experience leading digital release management processes.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in managing complex environments with multiple dependencies.
- Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members' capabilities and skill sets.
