Purpose:
This position is responsible for managing the development, implementation/maintenance, global oversight, and governance of environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs within the scope of responsibility. Take action to minimize risk to employees and facilities and to minimize EHS liability for the company.

Bachelor's Degree (EHS Related, Engineering) plus 10+ years of EHS related experience or Master's Degree (EHS Related, Engineering) plus 8-10+ years of EHS related experience. EHS related experience in manufacturing/R&D/Environmental is preferred. EHS or Engineering professional certification is preferred, but not required.
Prior experience in implementing EHS regulations and internal EHS Management/Technical Standards, EHS auditing, conducting incident investigations, interacting with external organizations and managing cross functional teams.
Ability to plan against business targets, review and approve functional area plans to achieve key business targets and strategic plan.
Ability to define scope and magnitude of problem, provide rapid and detailed assessment, coordinate response, present short-and long-term options, and develop procedures to minimize likelihood of re-occurrence.
Ability to actively listen, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external colleagues and stakeholders, and resolve conflict.
Ability to successfully manage project and programs according to schedule and within approved operational budget.

This position is responsible for managing the development, implementation/maintenance, global oversight, and governance of environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs within the scope of responsibility. Take action to minimize risk to employees and facilities and to minimize EHS liability for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight and management the Environmental, Health and Safety Documentation Program which consists of the Global EHS Management / Technical Standards and EHS Training. Develop and implement appropriate programs, policies, and procedures for global implementation.
- Monitor regulations and enforcement trends, conduct impact analyses, implement action plans for compliance and monitor global compliance.
- Implement and/or provide oversight for various EHS programs as assigned such as, but not limited to, EHS company-wide educational campaigns, EHS training/education for EHS teams' enterprise wide, OSHA Injury/Illness Recordkeeping compliance for U.S. and Puerto Rico, EHS Excellence Awards, and etc.
- Participate in environmental, health and safety audits.
- Implement/manage back-office process for EHS Audit Program such as, but not limited to, data trending, audit metrics, action plan follow-ups, etc.
- Think strategically and ensure deliverables are aligned with broader organization and create awareness of this direction with affected members/business functions.
- Strategize beyond short-term deliverables and expectations; monitor trends and practices externally to own organization (both inside and outside of the company) and facilitate continuous improvements that have long-term business value.
- Provide leadership and direction to direct staff through the promotion of teamwork, empowerment, coaching and development; and manage team performance to ensure organizational objectives are met.

- The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
