Manager EHS

• Monitor EHS performance, identify risks, areas of improvement, conduct and manage EHS audits and on-site inspections to identify EHS workplace hazards.
• Manage investigation of EHS incidents, prepare reports and recommendations, implement waste managementprograms, develop and drive EHS trainings , manage relationships with community of EHS stakeholders.
• Research, evaluate and recommend changes to improve EHS performance.
• Provide expertise and advice on EHS issues to area managers and plant managers.

Eliminate the risk of occupational injury and illness, andenvironmental non-compliance in a manufacturing environment.

• Lead,direct, evaluate and develop a team of EHS professionals.
• Implementation of EHS systems according to norms ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS.
• Maintain relationships with the community, EHS groups, or other stakeholders impacted by the EHS performance of the organization.
• Coordinate compliance audits, inspections, including insurance inspections.
• Ensure all new equipment meets all legal and YF requirements.
• Manage the plant's occupational health provider.

Set the standard and cultivate the EHS culture in the plant.

• Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.

• Must comply with all companypolicies and procedures.
• Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
• Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.

Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned l ocation ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).
Bachelor's Level Degree

Area of Study: EHS or related field.

3-5 Minimum Years ofExperience in EHS.

3-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.

Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.

Experienceof a minimum of two years in managing regulatory compliance in OSHA, worker's compensation, manufacturing health and safety training, environmental and ergonomics.

ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001 requirements including internal and external customers such as OE and NGO requirements; training and record keeping requirements, ISO documentation requirements and formats.

Office Environment .

Often exposed to distracting sounds and noisy conditions.

Personal protective equipment is required.

Exposure to hot or cold temperatures.

Works closely with others, perhaps within a foot of another person.

Exposure to hazardous equipment on a daily basis

Work is indoor in a manufacturing setting that may not be temperature controlled.
