Our Global Communications team serves as an advocate to protect and enhance brand perceptions. We're responsible for developing and executing external communications strategies that align with enterprise priorities and reflect the perspectives of our partners (employees). We are passionate about what we do and how we show up, every day.
We are looking for a candidate to join our efforts by leading and implementing PR brand campaigns that create meaningful brand moments that support the products and services available through our Canadian retail business. This r ole requires creativity , flexibility, and the ability to manage deadlines and collaborate effectively within a global business environment. Communicators with a proven background as an experienced PR and digital storytellers, earned media strategists, who can incorporate business and consumer insights into their work and have a track record for being a connector of people and ideas are encouraged to apply.

As a manager of external communications, you will:
- Lead and implement PR brand campaigns and external media strategies and, narratives that create meaningful brand moments to support the products and services available through our Canadian retail business
- Implement strategy and content creation for Starbucks Canada's digital newsroom channel
- Be a passionate storyteller with excellent writing ability to create high impact communications and develop fresh and compelling content (written, graphic, photographic and video) that can be shared across multiple digital channels
- Prepare, communicate and educate client groups and team on communications strategies within the organization and be accountable for communications strategies, execution details and performance results
We'd love to hear from people with:
- Demonstrated experience in consumer and digital communications
- Ability to s et goals for the work group, develop organizational capability, and model how we work together.
- Experience d eveloping strategic and operational plans for the work group, manage execution, and measure results.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, agencies and partners across the organization
- Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
