Nestle Purina PetCare Company seeks a Manager Facility Quality in Zanesville OH

Duties: Manages food safety management system and quality management system programs and requirements for pet food manufacturing. Coordinate and manage implementation of ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 and Nestle Quality Management System (NQMS) requirements and associated corporate procedure across the pet food manufacturing division. Participate in the internal and external factory audit programs to verify adherence to certification standards, regulatory requirements, NPP programs and product process specifications. Development, coaching and mentoring (including formal training programs as required) of division and factory resources in support of the food safety and quality management systems. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional groups such as TAG, PTC, Marketing, OCA, Purchasing and Product Supply to establish and achieve business objectives. Primary NPP representative for interaction with 3rd-party auditing group (Intertek) for food safety and quality management systems. Maintain technical competence through membership in professional organization and industry related conferences. Participate in regular product evaluations and customer presentations as needed.

Salary: $127171 - $137171 per year

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Food Science, Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or in an operations and quality role. Job requires experience in each of the following:

  • 5 years of experience working in food factory quality assurance and food safety;
  • 5 years of experience working in Food Safety;
  • 5 years of experience working with HACCP, TPM, QMS, GMP, and ISO 22000;
  • 5 years of experience working with Safety, Health and Environment in a laboratory environment;
  • 4 years of experience working with Good Laboratory Practices;
  • 3 years of experience in Microsoft Suite;
  • 2 years of experience in handling GLOBE transactions;
  • 1 year of experience working with food regulatory agencies and GMP guidelines for food manufacturing;
  • 1 year of leadership experience with direct reports;
  • 1 years of experience in hygienic engineering (hygienic engineering course);
  • 1 years of experience in statistical process control;
  • 1 years of experience in Quality Management; and
  • 1 years of experience working with Nutrition facts, Nutrition foundation (NFA).

Third-party certification for ISO22000 or FSSC22000 is required.

Up to 10% domestic and international travel required for training or business meetings.
