Position Details: Regular Full-time Location: Southport, Finance BW Hours: 77.50 FTE: 1.00 Shift: Days Union: Non-union Shift Times: 0800-1615
Rate of Pay: $48.09 - $63.11 PCN: 10AdFin005
Competition Closes: February 28, 2025
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Finance & Enterprise Risk Management, this senior leadership position is responsible for developing the corporate budget and forecasts, ensuring appropriate variance analysis, financial modeling and costing, and providing strategic financial advice and support to the organization in order to make sound business decisions. This includes researching and developing recommendations to influence financial business performance. Other duties include:
internal consulting and education to optimize the use of financial resources and designing internal reporting systems that enables Carewest to best fulfill its accountabilities. Responsible for other related duties and projects as required.
Qualifications:
-University Degree in Business Administration or Commerce with a focus on finance.
-Professional Accounting Designation (CA, CMA) with CA preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5 - 8 years of progressive financial experience. Systems and computer knowledge: advanced Excel skills, working within a large computerized environment. Experience in health care is an asset
