Duties & Responsibilities:
The finance manager will be responsible for generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, and analyzing industry trends. The finance manager will communicate internally with the accounting team, payroll, sales and management, and be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the financial statements.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business or accounting with 2-3 years of industry experience, strong analytical skills with accounting software and Excel proficiency, and be able to prioritize and work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Candidate will have strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. The candidate will have experience with the following:
Job Description/Duties
Prepare monthly financial packet
Prepare business activity reports and forecasts
Prepare ad hoc reporting as needed
Review invoicing for accuracy
Coordinate and complete new service sites invoicing set-ups
Review monthly reconciliations and journal entries
Monitor accounts receivable, create reports for sales and management
Learn payroll processes to serve as a payroll support
Manage team of staff accountants and AR/AP clerk
Monthly Credit Card Processing
Monthly Close Journal Entries
Perform other administrative job-related duties as assigned
Skills
Strong PC skills with proficiency in Excel and MS Office
Knowledge of financial principles and accounting terminology
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
