This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

As Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis ("FP&A"), you will be part of a team driving the analyses that help the CFO and leadership team execute on major initiatives and strategic decisions. You will support the Senior Director of FP&A and SVP of FP&A and Investor Relations in various analyses and serve as an analytical and strategic business partner through the organization. Through effective planning and analysis, you will provide the CFO and the broader leadership team with the appropriate reporting to help establish goals and track performance across the business.

In this role, you will get to:
  • Own the Budgeting and Forecasting process across Booking Holdings and our Centers of Excellence (COEs), including partnering with department leads, the People team and Center of Excellence management to understand business drivers and continually improve our forecast results, processes, policies, and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough monthly and quarterly variance analyses of actual results versus forecast, budget, and prior year, providing insightful explanations to stakeholders.
  • Manage and develop a small team of FP&A professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports to senior management.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and other ad-hoc projects.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, including utilizing and optimizing financial planning systems to streamline processes and improve data quality.


What you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant field is required, as well as 5-8 years of Corporate FP&A experience.
  • Proven experience in leading the budgeting and forecasting processes for a global organization.
  • Experience managing and developing a team of direct reports.
  • Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced user of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets).
  • Valuation, forecasting, and modeling experience.
  • HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)/OneStream experience is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask with a sense of urgency while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with intercompany or systems is a plus.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

There are a variety of job related factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.

The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $135,000-$165,000.
