The Race Fuels Development & Technical Support role will oversee the creation and refinement of racing fuel products while serving as the key technical resource for the numerous tracks, racing series, and sanctioning bodies that rely on these fuels to achieve success. In addition, this role will leverage market insights and data analysis to shape and implement strategies aimed at expanding the race fuels segment.

The Race Fuels Development & Technical Support role will oversee the creation and refinement of racing fuel products while serving as the key technical resource for the numerous tracks, racing series, and sanctioning bodies that rely on these fuels to achieve success. In addition, this role will leverage market insights and data analysis to shape and implement strategies aimed at expanding the race fuels segment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge/Passion for Racing and/or Combustion Engines
- 3+ years' experience relevant experience, industry experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to present to executive management
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to create new fuel products tailored to market demands.
- Provide support in refining existing products, ensuring consistency, quality, and top-tier performance despite potential shifts in component availability.
- Modify fuel blends as necessary to align with specification requirements when there are changes in additives or raw materials.
- Partner closely with the Manufacturing team to oversee the properties of finished fuels and coordinate trials of newly developed products.
- Coordinate with both internal and third-party labs, researching and integrating new testing methodologies when needed. Stay current with ASTM guidelines and other relevant protocols.
- Provide technical assistance to race series, sanctioning bodies, and teams, including drafting bulletins, fielding inquiries, and occasionally attending race events for on-site support (from major series to collegiate competitions).
- Act as the go-to technical resource for our customers, offering expertise on over 30 fuel blends used by tracks, distributors, and racing organizations.
- Participate in industry trade shows (such as SEMA and PRI) and handle occasional travel for business needs.
