Interested in joining one of Canada's top performing asset managers? We are looking for a Manager, Product Transitions to join our Information Resources Group team. The role is part of the Transitions Management Team which is responsible for overseeing the onboarding of institutional clients and fund products. Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in office and remote working days throughout the week.

What You Will Do

As the Manager, Product Transitions, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless integration and onboarding of new investment products, including Pooled Funds, Mutual Funds, UCITS, Collective Investment Trusts and LPs, ensuring efficient operational process and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. The Manager will be responsible for leading the Product Transitions Team, providing strategic planning, team operations, process enhancements and training and development. You will play an essential role in driving operational excellence and team leadership through building strong relationships and processes with fund custodians, prime brokers, and investment and operations teams.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product onboarding best practices, global market opening, excellent communication skills, strong project management abilities and the aptitude to lead a high performing team. Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new investment products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product development, portfolio management, legal, compliance and operations.
  • Lead, structure and develop the Product Transitions Team while providing oversight of the day-to-day team functions.
  • Team management including hiring, training, performance reviews and goal-setting.
  • Develop and implement operational workflows, transition plans, processes and tools to streamline and enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Conduct thorough review of product documentation, agreements and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Coordinate training sessions for internal stakeholders on new product features, operational procedures and compliance guidelines.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on operational aspects of investment products, providing guidance and support to internal teams as needed.
  • Act as main contact for prime and FX broker onboarding, global market opening and management and fund set ups
  • Analyze and identify operational and portfolio management requirements, potential risks and product needs.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of product transition activities, identifying and mitigating any potential risks or delays.
  • Work closely with other CC&L FG managers to coordinate project resources and timelines.
  • Support the management team on strategic initiatives and development of the company and the team.

  • A minimum 5 years' experience in product management or investment operations in the financial services industry.


The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 CAD annualized. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process
