Position Summary:

The Manager of Global Facilities Protection is responsible for all aspects of ADP's Global Facilities Protection Programs worldwide. The incumbent will be advising and assisting Senior GSO Leadership with the development of policies; implementing and subsequently managing the security provisioning that will prevent the loss of intellectual, financial, and company assets as well as provide a safe and secure environment for ADP personnel globally. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee security prevention programs which may include, but not limited to, Video Surveillance Controls, Facility Access Controls, Intrusion Detection Controls, Electronic Security Systems Design, Workplace Violence Prevention, Workforce Protection, and Crisis Management support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the proactive security posture of an assigned portfolio of ADP Facilities Globally and may function as a principal member of the ADP GSO Incident Management Team at time of crisis or disaster.
  • Responsible for leading and managing security projects, including new security installations, technology implementations, and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Act as a physical security consultant to business partners and facility managers within ADP's Facilities Services Organization and contracted agencies to measure, manage, and reduce risks associated with site security & public safety related vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct Comprehensive Physical Security Assessments. These duties include the development of assessment frameworks, assessment delivery portfolio artifacts, the completion and quality assurance management of plans, and the management of the independent risk evaluation of assessments from third parties, contract security resources, and other entities within ADP, completing a holistic view of ADP's Site Security Capability Measurement Profile. Further, this position is charged with the Program Management of all related schedules, work assignments, deliverables, and remediation progress of plans and risk associated within his/her area of assigned responsibilities in supporting ADP.

Key Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years Sworn Law Enforcement experience and hold a current qualification under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) HR-218 or have the ability to obtain and maintain a HR-218 qualification, if not yet retired.
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security Studies preferred or equivalent in education & experience with a minimum of five (5) years managing similar security functions or security related processes.
  • Accreditation with a CPP, PSP, or CISM through ASIS/ISACA Organizations preferred.
  • Travel may be required to support security operations across multiple locations including international.
  • Candidate must either possess or have the ability to obtain a passport.
  • Candidate must be able to pass an advanced background investigation.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

They must have the ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and to make quick decisions with limited information. They must also be able to make decisions within the scope of the defined responsibilities in support of the goals of the team and organization, as well as have the motivation to tackle challenging problems.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing security projects, including new security installations, technology implementations, and policy updates, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Proven experience managing both in-house and contract security teams.
  • Ability to partner with executive/senior leadership, legal, HR, facilities, and other departments to ensure alignment on security strategies and compliance.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively (via both verbal and written) communications within a corporate global team environment.
  • Ability to lead response efforts for security incidents, ensuring rapid containment, investigation, and resolution.
  • Ability to liaise with external law enforcement and security agencies as needed for coordinated efforts and intelligence sharing.
  • Ability to develop and explain technical decisions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including responding to emergencies on a 24/7 basis. May require working outside of regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the security needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and respond quickly to incidents.
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize work.
  • Ability to meet inflexible deadlines.
  • Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to deal with difficult individuals while maintaining composure.
