Overview
Lutron is seeking an experienced Manager of Global Tax to join our Finance team out of our Corporate Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA, reporting to our Senior Director and Tax Counsel. In this role, you will be responsible for managing reporting and compliance with US Federal, state, and international tax laws and reviewing of the global income tax provision. You will continuously improve the global income tax return process by fostering open communications both within the Company, cross-functionally, and with outside income tax preparer partners. You will conduct tax research, create tax planning strategies including, international tax planning and modeling (e.g., GILTI, FDII, FTC, BEAT, Pillar II), and oversee tax credits and incentive programs (e.g., R&D credits). Additionally, this position will support M&A activities and other special projects while providing guidance on tax-related matters to various departments.

Responsibilities
- Oversee global income tax compliance payments and filings including annual and quarterly federal and state corporate income tax calculations for U.S., Canada, UK, Netherlands, and Puerto Rico.
- Lead process optimization initiatives to strengthen global tax preparer partnerships, while streamlining and standardizing the flow of income tax information for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Assess changing tax laws and impacts on Company
- Manage U.S. international tax compliance, including review of international tax calculations (GILTI, FDII, FTC, BEAT) and forms such as 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118.
- Lead efforts in managing IRS audits and certain foreign country tax audits.
- Evaluate and advise internal business teams on tax matters related to domestic and international proposals spanning direct and indirect taxes.
- Manage the global income tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740.
- Oversee reconciliation and maintenance of global income tax accounts.
- Manage and seek tax credits and incentive programs such as R&D credits and collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Manage preparation and review of required reports for Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) and OECD Pillar II requirements.
- Work with external consultants to prepare transfer pricing studies and ensure proper documentation for all intercompany transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA or MST strongly preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in tax departments within a large multinational company and/or a Big Four accounting firm.
- At least 3 recent years of direct international tax responsibility.
- Expertise in Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credit calculations, and other international reporting rules.
- Strong understanding of ASC 740 and U.S. federal taxation.
- Proficiency in SAP, OneStream, or OneSource tax provision software is a plus.
- Experience with financial modeling to assess the impacts of tax legislation, identify risks, and present strategic recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a global, complex environment and build positive business relationships.
