The Human Resources Manager will oversee all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, labor relations, and employee development. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can align HR initiatives with the overall business objectives, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Required Education/Experience:- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading people or the people function.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Experiencein a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Prior labor relations experience preferred.
- Prior experience as top HR official in a plant/facility is preferred.
- Strong foundation in all HR areas recruiting & hiring, ER, LR, benefits, compensation, performance management, policy administration, training, and organizational development.
- Experience with employee orientation and training.
- Must possess safety & employee engagement acumen.
- Experience in HRIS administration, UKG or Success Factor experience a plus.
- Highly adaptive, change management skills.
- Serve as a coach and trusted partner to plant management team to execute strategic decisions, provide guidance on business issues, and identify training and development need of team members.
- Assist our Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion initiatives at the local level; drive inclusion through HR initiatives, hiring activities, and talent management activities.
- Plan and implement methods that enhance the plant employee / labor relations and foster superior employee engagement of the plant's workforce.
- Support and administer benefits and compensation/bonus programs at the plant level in accordance with Business Unit directives.
- Work collaboratively with managers to address performance concerns such as absenteeism, policy violation and behavioral concerns
- Investigate and resolve complex employee relations complaints; represent the company regarding compliance or legal matters
- Facilitate the companys performance management program, succession planning and recognition processes
- Oversee recruitment, outreach, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding processes
- Conduct employment/ compliance / workforce related training programs.
- Implement and manage plant processes to control absenteeism.
- Manage performance management, succession planning and recognition processes for the plant.
- Administer and/or manage the plant payroll and HRIS processes and procedures.
- Conduct investigations and decision-making processes to resolve complaints, grievances, potential policy violations, etc., and implement discipline and coaching / counseling processes, as required.
- Manage and conduct plant labor relations and plant contract negotiations.
- Lead and develop plant HR staff while leading by example and fostering a safe learning environment.
