JOB SUMMARY:

To support field operators in ensuring the companies HBO program goals are achieved or exceeded. Provides physician, leadership, and clinical staff guidance via targeted support and education. Works in collaboration with VP, Clinical Services, Divisional VPs, Regional VPs, Regional Directors Clinical Training, Regional Directors, Program Directors, etc. and staff to identify growth opportunities and underlying challenges impacting results. Develops, educates, and coaches staff and providers to achieve applicable goals. Implements and supports performance plans as necessary.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works closely with PD's and leadership to address site level HBO related opportunities, challenges, and related performance improvement plans. Intervenes to address critical issues impacting program performance, develops and regularly monitors under-performing centers and provides guidance to ensure improvement.
  • In collaboration with RDCT, participates with HBO Gap calls, utilizing HBO weekly trackers to identify areas of opportunity for HBO volume growth. Works closely with applicable PD's, providers, HBOT's and staff to address opportunities identified. Regularly monitors progress to plan and provides education and training as applicable. Evaluates program data, metrics, staffing and competencies to determine developmental plans.
  • In collaboration with leadership, reviews and supports the development of HBO growth goals for each center/region. Continually monitors daily, monthly/quarterly results to plan to include division HBO program growth overall
  • Responsible for the development of new/current panel physicians and staff to ensure each are oriented, trained, and competent in HBO indications and treatment protocols.
  • Participates in panel physician, center/staff, and C-suite meetings as well as and one on one meetings with providers as needed to support HBO education and growth objectives. Supports provider recruitment as needed to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Facilitates training on HBO clinical protocols, policy, and procedure.
  • Completes regular center auditing/tracking through HBO utilization auditing tool and provides feedback to center leadership and HBO technicians.
  • Initiates GAP analysis and evaluation process within facilities to identify potential HBO candidates, educates staff and leadership.
  • Develops and executes process improvement plan after evaluation of practices to benefit clinical flow and best practice.
  • Prepares and enforces policies to establish a safe work environment, educates staff as needed.
  • Performs other duties as required including providing cross-division support/education on best practices and opportunities that may benefit the organization, participates in committees, meetings, corporate initiatives and projects as needed and/or assigned.
  • Recommends solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures.
  • Participates with region leadership to share opportunities and best practices across region and to train leadership.
  • Analyzes center/region performance and reports to leadership on status/progress.
  • Administer and uphold all the Company's values and policies and procedures

ADDITONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs other duties as assigned


EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Prior experience in an operational role at a wound & hyperbaric center highly preferred.
  • Must have a valid and current BLS
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN). Other advanced medical degrees/certifications will be considered.
  • CHRN trained/certified preferred
  • Prior experience with wound care patients highly preferred
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Prior experience with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system highly preferred
  • Be in possession of an active driver's license in good standing

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires periods of time in which sitting, standing, use of hand and foot motion, vision, hearing, summarizing, focusing with frequent interruptions along with other physical, sensory and cognitive sensory functions are required.

  • Must have full range of body motion
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and color vision
  • Must be able to speak and hear clearly
  • Must have the ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, lean, and squat for long periods of time without hindrance
  • Must be able to maintain dexterity when pulling, pushing, and gripping emergency carts and stretchers
  • Must be physically able to perform CPR
  • Must perform all physical job duties accurately in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruption
