Shift : Days

Pay: $57.56 - $92.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Drives the application of predictive modeling and data science to new areas of the business. Develops creative new solutions with advanced analytics and stays current on the latest algorithms and their applications. Drives more advanced practices in MLOps to make predictive analytics more stable and scalable. Drives the maturation of the data science team through resource management and individual mentorship. Drives discussions with clinical and business stakeholders, conveying data insights clearly and effectively to people beyond the data science team.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5 years of relevant experience; 1 year of leadership experience

Preferred:
  • 4 years or more of data science or related experience
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree program in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Leadership experience, including people management, strategy development, project management, program development, growth, and management
  • Experience with Epic EHR and Epic Cloud Computing / Nebula
  • Intermediate SQL skills, comfort using SQL to develop training datasets for models
  • Experience performing exploratory analysis on training data and developing training datasets
  • Experience developing predictive models, leveraging principles of cross validation
  • Managing deployment of models to appropriate cloud platform including Nebula/Snowflake.
  • Developing and deploying dashboards to monitor model performance, including detecting feature and concept drift
  • Understanding of statistics and ability to translate statistical concepts in communications with others
  • Expertise in data analysis and translation of findings for consumption by others

Technical Skills:
  • Relational database systems, SQL, and database design
  • Intermediate SQL skills Data visualization (Power BI or comparable)
  • Python scripting and modeling with common libraries such as sklearn, statsmodels, and xgboost
  • Classification and regression models
  • Linear and non-linear models
  • Model deployment to cloud environment using docker
  • Cloud tools to support model development and maintenance

  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Supports special projects and business analysis as requested.
  • Manages information systems installations, conversions, and upgrades. Evaluates need for upgrades or changes to existing systems and recommends cost-effective hardware/software solutions.
