What You'll Be Serving Up:
You will lead the charge in crafting and executing impactful internal communications and employer branding initiatives that unite KFC US's team members and franchisees around our mission, values, and strategic vision. Your mission will be to foster a strong, winning culture and position KFC as the ultimate employer of choice in the quick-service restaurant industry.

What You Bring to the Table:
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year university in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
Experience:
8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's, 6+ years with a Master's.
Experience in Internal/Corporate Communication position for a consumer products company ($500M+ in size) preferred.

You will lead the charge in crafting and executing impactful internal communications and employer branding initiatives that unite KFC US's team members and franchisees around our mission, values, and strategic vision. Here's How You'll Spice Things Up:
Design and execute internal communication channel strategy
- Develop an internal channel strategy that effectively empowers teams to deliver on our goals and objectives. Channels include:
- Intranet (TeamKFC)
- Weekly newsletters (Franchisees and Corporate employees)
- Executive communications
- Integrated communications with cross functional and cross brand partners
- Own master integrated communications calendar, collaborating with key partners in Ops, PR and Marketing to work through competing priorities and mitigate complexities to achieve a clear 360-degree storytelling approach
- Drive awareness for the KFC US org and downstream stakeholders (franchisees, restaurant employees) by crafting compelling multi-media communications that clearly articulate the company's key messages and business priorities.
- Shape an engaging and relevant TeamKFC experience by leading the development and execution of content strategy as well as developing and maintaining the intranet content through partnering with the People Technology team.
- Enable impactful, memorable meetings and events by ensuring consistency in content creation and supporting planning and implementation. Examples of meetings to support include:
- Ensure consistent digital comms by supporting all digital comms platforms and helping develop new platforms being launched in restaurants (e.g., digital comms boards, team member apps).
- Manage internal comms budget
- Relationship management with key vendors and agencies
Pioneer executive communication and thought leadership strategies
- Identify key moments to strategically leverage executive voices beyond daily business needs
- Prepare executives for key speaking opportunities, including developing talking points, scripts, reactive messaging, power points and other materials
- Craft compelling thought leadership platforms for key executives, including short- and long-term strategies
- Collaborate with external communications teams and marketing partners to leverage executive platforms for integrated storytelling moments that strengthen the reputation of the brand
- Provide communications support, guidance and content for Chief Executives to help ensure desired executive image and voice.
Champion KFC US employer branding
- Collaborate with key People & Culture partners to design and execute employer branding strategy
- Leverage analytics tools to assess, report and recommend actions to increase employer branding opportunities
- Integrate key employer branding messages across strategic channels
- Align employer branding initiatives with enterprise initiatives
- Serve as co-lead of culture squad for KFC US
What You Bring to the Table:
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year university in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
