ROLE OVERVIEW
In the role of Manager, Investment Compensation the employee will be responsible for the following:
Assisting with the year-end investment team compensation and analytics process
Partnering with legal to review complex employment contracts
Partnering with the business development team to produce compensation related analytics as requested
Partner with various groups across the business to assist in compensation related planning (compensation structures, mock payout calculations, and compensation forecasting)
Help support the strategy business leads with compensation planning and requests
Working with Fund Accounting on the month-end accrual process
Working with external auditors during the annual audit
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
To effectively represent the Company and communicate with clients, the employee must be someone who has:
Demonstrated strong analytical and organizational skills
A process improvement mindset
Proven to be a self-starter with the ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task time across time sensitive deliverables and project work
Team player mentality
Experience maintaining confidentiality of highly sensitive information
Strong Excel skills
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
7 - 10+ years of public accounting experience, FP&A, or finance experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
CPA not required, but preferred
