Job Description Summary

The Manager, IT Engagement leads and oversees IT team activities, ensuring that IT solutions and operations align with business objectives, and that processes are optimized and support operational needs. This position focuses on aligning operational needs with the objectives of the organization and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure required changes are made efficiently and executed effectively. Manages the daily operations of an IT team while fostering a high-performance culture within the team.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the planning process by providing team insights, aligning objectives, and ensuring operational feasibility.
  • Ensures IT solutions and team activities support, optimize, and align with business processes and operational needs.
  • Oversees a team by providing strong leadership to staff including hiring, onboarding, training, performance, and talent management.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop team members, fostering engagement, performance, and professional growth.
  • Actively manages the daily operations of the team, ensuring efficiency and delivery of high-quality outcomes
  • Stays actively engaged in projects supported by the team - participating in meetings and communications as needed to ensure high-quality and on-time completion of projects.
  • Drives alignment and decision-making by effectively communicating goals, expectations, and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Continuously focuses improving processes and workflows by identifying opportunities, developing process improvement goals, and executing strategies.
  • Prepares reports and presents to all levels of the organization
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, business partners, and leadership.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the respective IT domain, ensuring high-quality solutions and best practices.
  • Participates as needed in the annual budgeting process
  • Attends meetings as required and/or assigned
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
  • Required to travel up to 10% of the time

Required Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in the use of common office equipment and software - including: computers, printers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Strong familiarity with CRM, analytics tools, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, EDI & VMI software, and Helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Expert knowledge of SAP - including the implementation and use of reports, configuration, and customization
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for customer success and the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and time-management skills
  • Builds and maintains positive, productive relationships within and across teams, customers, and vendors
  • Effectively manages multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to translate business objectives into strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders and tactfully exercise influence across the organization
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes uncertain environment, making sound decisions based on best available information
  • Effectively leads and motivates employees

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of years of related IT experience with experience scoping, planning and leading technical and cross-functional projects required
  • 3+ years professional experience leading teams.
  • Prior professional in working within diverse, multicultural environments and collaborating with international teams preferred

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation
  • Base: $132,000 to $177,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
  • Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
