Description:

  • **This is a hybrid working position with the ability to come onsite 2-3 times a month to teach classes and hold occasional in-person team meetings.
  • The Manager of Leadership Development supports the strategic direction of the Leadership & Organizational Development department by leading the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of leadership development programming to improve leadership capabilities and drive performance. The Manager of Leadership Development will ensure needs analyses and key metrics are aligned to determine learning objectives and expected outcomes for learning opportunities, and designs offerings that are innovative, engaging, and informative.
  • This position reports to the Vice President of DEI and Leadership Development. Reporting to this role is a team of leadership development professionals.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree a plus in Adult Learning, Educational Leadership, Business Education, Leadership Development, or related fields.
    • License/Certifications: Preferred professional designations or certifications in one or more of the following areas: instructional design, facilitation, talent management practices, leadership assessments
    • Experience: 5 years progressive experience leading the design and implementation of leadership development programs. 2 or more years leading people preferred.
    • Experience in design, development and implementation of learning and development strategies and interventions for leadership populations.
    • Mastery of group process facilitation methods, practices, and techniques.
    • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategies into operational outcomes.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high-performing team
    • Demonstrates effective project management skills.
    • Exercises independent judgement in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
    • Builds constructive and effective relationships with leaders at all levels of the organization, effectively contributes to collaborative team efforts.
    • Contributes to and supports efforts of the Leadership Development team in delivering learning events outside of their own area of responsibility.
