Job Profile Summary

Ensure that the work is completed in a safe and efficient manner for company facilities that may include: processing, fractionation, storage, compression, pumping and/or pipelines.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide direction and support to supervisors and employees engaged in maintenance and warehousing work in support of company facilities that may include processing: fractionation, storage, compression, pumping and/or pipelines
- Ensure completion of routine preventive, predictive, and compliance maintenance work including documentation
- Ensure programs are effective and that key risks are identified and addressed
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and industry standards are maintained
- Design, implement and improve maintenance metrics of assets, including, but not limited to:
- Timely completion of preventive and predictive maintenance work
- Effective implementation of Work Management strategies
- Assess effectiveness of existing maintenance routines and procedures; develop and drive opportunities for improvement
- Provide maintenance support for investigation of failures, implementation of repair strategies and execution of maintenance projects
- Manage planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance turnarounds in coordination with operations and maintenance teams
- Evaluation and oversight of third-party contractors providing maintenance and repair services for the company
- Evaluation and oversight of inventory management to cost effectively support reliability and availability goals, including critical spares program
- Compile, prepare, and/or analyze various reports and correspondence including, but not limited to:
- Overhead and Maintenance (O&M) capital budgets
- Oil sample analysis
- Contractor quotes
- Compressor set-up sheets
- Authorization for expenses (AFE's)
- Vendor maintenance manuals
- Construction drawings and maps
- Maintenance plans and schedules
- Training completion reports
- Support cost effectiveness of facility operations, including budgeting and planning processes. Manage cost of equipment overhauls and repairs
- Ensure customer needs are effectively met. Maintain good customer relationships with the Operations and Reliability groups through effective communications, timely support and proactive guidance
- Develop the skills, morale and performance of the maintenance team including, but not limited to:
- Evaluate team skills and performance, develop challenging goals and assist in their achievement through formal and informal performance feedback
- Address performance deficiencies through mentoring, training or corrective action plans
- Recognize and celebrate achievements and maintain a positive work environment
- Ensure the maintenance group is engaged in driving Environmental, Health and Safety excellence
- Ensure maintenance procedures and training programs are effective and up-to-date
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and preparing appropriate documentation
- Provide information and/or assistance to management and employees regarding daily work activities, scheduling, operational changes, etc
- Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering desirable or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience:
Work Experience
- Experience with design, construction, operations and maintenance of company facilities that may include: processing, fractionation, storage, compression, pumping and/or pipelines
- Experience with material failure and structural analysis and thorough knowledge of industry standards and governmental regulations
- Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software
- Experience identifying, researching, evaluating and prioritizing operational problems or specific situations and determining appropriate action/response
- Experience researching and preparing, contracts, agreements, budgets and various reports, forms and correspondence
- Experience examining, testing and evaluating new products, materials and techniques
- Experience interacting, advising, negotiating and communicating effectively
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of: applicable OSHA/PSM, Industry Standards, Governmental and Environmental regulations and documentation requirements
- Knowledge of: pumps, compressors, piping, towers, heaters, pressure relief devices, mechanical integrity programs, instrumentation, electrical, and process control equipment and system
- Ability to: successfully interact, negotiate, advise and communicate effectively
- Ability to: read and understand governmental regulations, references, journals, construction plans, blueprints, contracts, manuals, reports, specifications and correspondence and the use of that knowledge to develop and complete projects
- Ability to: supervise, direct and/or delegate work assignments. Knowledge of personnel policies and procedures
- Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information; conduct oral presentations
- Ability to: react and respond to emergency situations
