Job Description
We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to support and manage production planning, workflow optimization, and new product development efforts. This role will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and shop floor teams to drive efficient, cost-effective manufacturing operations from concept to completion. If you have a strong background in machining environments, production workflows, and SolidWorks-based design support, this opportunity offers a hands-on role in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine production workflows for machined and assembled components, ensuring efficiency and repeatability.
  • Provide manufacturing input during product development stages to support design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Create and manage production planning documents, including work instructions, routings, and process estimates.
  • Support MRB (Material Review Board) activities by identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions.
  • Work cross-functionally to streamline operations and reduce lead times while maintaining product quality.

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
  • Experience in a machining-based manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for interpreting and updating 3D models and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and its application in production settings.
  • Familiarity with estimating processes, materials planning, and production scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
