This role will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and shop floor teams to drive efficient, cost-effective manufacturing operations from concept to completion. If you have a strong background in machining environments, production workflows, and SolidWorks-based design support, this opportunity offers a hands-on role in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine production workflows for machined and assembled components, ensuring efficiency and repeatability.
- Provide manufacturing input during product development stages to support design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Create and manage production planning documents, including work instructions, routings, and process estimates.
- Support MRB (Material Review Board) activities by identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions.
- Work cross-functionally to streamline operations and reduce lead times while maintaining product quality.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
- Experience in a machining-based manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for interpreting and updating 3D models and technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of GD&T and its application in production settings.
- Familiarity with estimating processes, materials planning, and production scheduling tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
