In this capacity, the Manager, Mental Health Programs plays a crucial role. Through leadership excellence, the successful candidate will support the development, implementation, and sustainability of care pathways focused on serving residents with mental health needs in the long term care community.

What You Will be Doing:
Program Development & Implementation:
Develop specific criteria and attributes that would identify residents with mental health and clinical needs
Research, design, and implement all components of mental health programs
Provide consultation, assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of individual plans of care
Evaluation and Quality Improvement:
Create a measurement based program plan
Design a approach for urgent and developing mental health needs
Conduct rounds to ensure plans of care are meeting the needs of the residents
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Collaborate with leadership and team members to ensure programs are designed and implantation aligns with Sienna mission, vision and values
Who You Are:
You are a Registered Nurse, an Advanced Practice Nursing, or a Regulated Health Professional in a relevant field. You are in good standing with your associated regulatory College
Require 5 years clinical experience involving clients with mental health and addiction issues
Design experience in developing program using evidence based practices
Experience in leading change, monitoring and measuring outcomes, and the ability to provide advanced clinical care
You have excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, teaching and computer skills
You are proficient with MS Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
