WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Manage a busy Emergency Room
- Prepare, manage and control budget, monitor and analyze variances.
- Direct employees to meet all mandatory Human Resource requirements.
- Complete performance appraisal of staff members.
- Quality compliance.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Oversee the process of assuring the clinical competence of personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Required
- 5 years' experience in Nursing/Patient Care - Required -AND-
- 2 plus years current or previous ER experience - Preferred
- 2 years Previous managerial experience with demonstrated leadership skills - Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) - in state of practice - Required - AND -
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
- Nursing Leadership Certification - Within 36 months of hire - Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association - Required if required by unit
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Required if required by unit
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Required if required by unit
