- Schedule: Full-Time | Administrative Hours | Rotating Weekends
- Salary Range: $142,771 - $214,032 (based on experience)
- Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case basis)
Join a leading acute-care hospital as the Manager of Case Management, where you'll play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality care transitions, regulatory compliance, and effective discharge planning. You'll serve as a clinical leader and operational expert supporting a team of skilled case managers and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations of the Case Management department
- Support timely admissions and discharges to optimize length of stay and throughput
- Round on units to provide real-time support and guidance to case management staff
- Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, and case load balancing
- Collaborate with physicians, payers, families, and post-acute providers to ensure appropriate care transitions
- Monitor compliance with hospital policies, federal regulations, and accreditation standards
- Promote positive relationships across the continuum of care, ensuring high patient satisfaction and system efficiency
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Licensure:
- Current RN license in the State of California
- Experience:
- 5+ years of case management and/or nursing leadership experience in an acute care hospital
- Strong understanding of InterQual and Milliman criteria
- Expertise in payer systems (Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care, private insurance)
- Familiarity with utilization review and reimbursement practices
- Lead one of the region's most respected and innovative hospital case management teams
- Work in a facility with a Level III NICU, transplant program, and nationally recognized heart care
