Spartronics has an opening for a Manager of FP&A and Business Systems at our Corporate Headquarters located in Fairport, New York. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis activities to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, an important aspect of this role will be management of the consolidation tool used for financial reporting. This is a full-time, salary-based position with excellent benefits and growth opportunities that will report to the Sr. Director FP&A. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, strong business systems acumen and Microsoft Office systems expertise, and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively.

FP&A Essential Job Functions :
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and insights.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, incorporating analysis of variances and trends.
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Business Development, Engineering, Operations, Program Management) to gather and analyze data, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Support the annual budgeting process, including preparation, consolidation, and review of budgets across departments.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Oversee the administration of, and be a subject matter expert for the financial consolidation tool (BPC/SAP).
- Continuously strive to improve system processes and build efficiencies through automation.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Support Corporate Controller and CFO with ad-hoc analysis involving banking, treasury, backlog, sales pipeline, and more.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. MBA or equivalent degree / experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills; Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; Proven experience with report writing applications (e.g. PowerBI) and administering financial consolidation tools is a major plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
