CLASSIFICATION: Manager of Information Technology
PAY GRADE: $91,427.03 - $121,179.11 Annually
POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Information Technology is responsible for overseeing the IT and IS operations, leading IT staff, and ensuring the implementation of technology solutions across the organization. This position directly supervises various IT and IS roles. The Manager of IT will work closely with senior IT leadership and other departments to maintain systems, introduce innovations, and ensure compliance with security and operational standards. The role requires both direct supervision and strategic leadership of other team members.
This position will either supervise, oversee or lead the following teams: BI Application Development Team, BI Clinical Applications Team, BI Data Warehouse Team, BI Information Systems Team, BI Reporting Team, IT Helpdesk Team, Information and Network Security Team, IT Inventory Management Team, Microsoft 365 Team, IT Networking Team, IT Systems and Desktop Support Team.
This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support culturally competent recovery-based practices; person centered planning as a shared decision-making process with the individual, who defines his/her life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals; and a trauma informed culture of safety to aid persons served in the recovery process.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Networking Administration, or another closely related field is required. Master's degree is strongly preferred.
Experience:
Ten (10) years' experience in most of the essential duties and responsibilities listed above as well as those of the teams this position oversees. Minimum of 5 years of direct IT supervisory experience, with 3 years preferred in IT management.
Experience in project management, network administration, and information security.
Licenses and Credentials:
Must possess or acquire within 2 years and maintain; a minimum of two industry standard certifications that are applicable to position and approved by the CIO. These may include IT Security Certification (ISC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud security Professional (CCSP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC, GISF, GSEC), Network+, Security+, CySa+.
Valid Michigan Driver's license with good driving record.
