The ideal candidate will coordinate or perform the essential human resource responsibilities for the company's employees. These duties include talent acquisition, working closely with management to foster a highly effective and collaborative environment, employee relations, legal compliance and recordkeeping, and onboarding of new employees. This position requires a true strategic business partner who is collaborative, capable of building consensus, and commitment toward mutual outcomes.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with the local Leadership Team to formulate, develop, and implement talent strategy to achieve management's vision, mission and goals
- Regularly engage in communication with the Leadership Team on key human resources matters
- Key contact for Corporate HR and Shared Services
- Oversee recruitment efforts to ensure that the company is effectively and efficiently sourcing and selecting the right candidates
- Create systems to attract talent and work with management to identify critical needs
- Identify strategies to enhance employee engagement, employee retention, leadership and staff development, regular feedback and coaching, career pathing, and promoting a coherent organizational culture that positions the company as an "employer of choice"
- Facilitate the effective and efficient administration of the performance management process, making sure that the organization's leaders are equipped to engage in constructive and ongoing feedback and coaching, and encourage staff to actively participate in identifying and addressing performance gaps
- Mitigate legal risk to the organization through proactive training and education, clear systems and processes for managing conflicts between employees, handling and investigating complaints of harassment/discrimination and other unjust practice allegations
- Maintain knowledge and application of all relevant laws and regulations at the local, state and national level relating to employment and ensure organizational compliance. This includes educating and advising personnel leaders on HR-related legal and regulatory matters and ensuring HR programs, practices and policies are aligned.
- Ensure that employee files and records are properly and securely maintained
- Regularly review compensation and benefits market data, monitor pay practices and proactively address discrepancies
- Become a trusted partner to all employees to promote a healthy and effective culture
- Partner with Shared Services to optimize and integrate HR technology, enabling Group Leaders and employees to easily perform people-related transactions (e.g. benefits enrollment
Qualifications
Specific Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A bias for teambuilding
- Experience with talent acquisition and recruitment platforms
- Results-oriented strategic thinker and planner
- Working knowledge of employment laws and other compliance issues
- Ability to listen and probe to understand underlying needs and/or root cause of an issue
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills, including proficiency in developing and delivering presentations
- Partnering with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in HR system applications
- SHRM Certification preferred
- Experience with behavioral assessments, DISC, or other psychometric testing
- A minimum of 7 years of HR generalist experience partnering directly with senior leadership to develop, align and implement HR and organizational development strategies
