About the Role:

As the Production Standards Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Regional Site Manager or Operations senior management in establishing and maintaining production standards and goals for the site. Your primary focus will be on enhancing productivity, maintaining quality, and ensuring control within the site's operating environment. You will be responsible for implementing processes and tools to measure the performance of all associates, supervisors, and production managers, and ensuring that they adhere to site standards.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Site Manager or Operations senior management to establish production standards and goals aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Implement tools and processes to measure the performance of all associates, supervisors, and production managers. Regularly monitor performance metrics related to productivity, quality, and control.
  • Evaluate the performance of direct reports and their teams to ensure they are executing their designated roles effectively and in accordance with site standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improving productivity, quality, and control within the site's operating environment. Develop and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and optimize processes.
  • Provide training and support to associates, supervisors, and production managers to enhance their skills and capabilities. Ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to meet production standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to production standards, quality control, and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including senior management, associates, and other departments, to ensure alignment and collaboration in achieving production goals.
  • Address any issues or challenges related to productivity, quality, or control promptly and effectively. Implement corrective actions as needed to maintain performance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production standards, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in production management, operations, or related field, with years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of production standards, performance metrics, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead teams to achieve production goals.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to production and quality control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
