Join Amazon Currency Converter (ACC) as a Manager, Payment Program Management in Seattle, where you'll lead a dynamic team at the forefront of Amazon's global payment innovations. This role sits at the intersection of payment technology, e-commerce, and international business, driving solutions that empower Amazon Sellers worldwide.

The overall ACC business provides payment experience for cross-border Buyers and Sellers globally and extends Amazon's reach beyond the borders of our existing Amazon Stores. Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers (ACCS) enables Sellers to sell in more Amazon Stores by making it easier to get paid in their preferred currency to their home bank account, thus increasing the number of Sellers and product selections on Amazon Stores. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of global e-commerce payments, working with innovative fintech solutions while leading initiatives that directly impact Amazon Sellers worldwide. As a key leader of ACC Business Operations team, you will drive operational excellence by developing KPIs, implementing process improvements, and ensuring seamless payment processing while managing risk and compliance across international geographies. You will build and maintain strategic relationships and drive performance optimization with global banking and fintech partners. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to drive new and existing programs, initiate opportunities to expand current product offerings, and develop innovative solutions that help our Sellers get paid with confidence and ease.

This opportunity requires excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and highly analytical, and bring the following to the position: a) strong account, program and business management skills including the creation of product and business operation strategy; b) financial and economic analysis skills; c) payments products knowledge, including an understanding of the international/cross-border payments landscape, competitive environment, and customer behavior; d) ability to engage with internal and external partners to identify and pursue business opportunities, and influence outcomes; f) experience in providing team with general direction and assistance to drive performance and given goals.

Key job responsibilities
Oversee reporting of business and system metrics with the intent of identifying and driving towards operational excellence and continuous performance improvement
Build and maintain strategic relationships with global banking and fintech partners and drive partner performance through optimization initiatives
Lead process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and improve team productivity
Identify product/feature gaps and ensure they are properly prioritized, and work with the stakeholder teams to execute against the roadmap
Drive program innovations that simplify the seller payment experience and collaborate with product and tech teams to enhance our service offerings

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- 6+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

- 6+ years of program or project management experience

- 4+ years of team management experience

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results in cross-functional environments.

- Experience in financial or payment industries

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA

- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
