ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a Manager, People Partner who will be a true strategic partner to our business leaders while driving key people initiatives across talent acquisition, HR operations, and employee experience. This role combines business acumen with HR expertise to drive organizational success through our most valuable asset-our people.

This role reports to the Head of HR.

Although we are remote-first, this role requires a Los Angeles residency for periodic in-person collaboration at our Hollywood office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Business Partnership (35%)
  • Partner closely with director-level leaders to understand business needs and provide strategic people solutions
  • Contribute to business planning and organizational effectiveness discussions
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on people management practices
  • Support organizational change initiatives, particularly around new systems and processes
  • Translate business strategy into effective people practices
  • Participate in monthly business reviews and strategic planning sessions

Talent Acquisition & Development (35%)
  • Drive recruitment strategies aligned with our growth objectives and company values
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting processes from job posting to offer acceptance
  • Implement and manage our new competency-based interview framework
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and success criteria
  • Design and execute preboarding and onboarding programs, including "The Takeoff"
  • Support career development initiatives through our new Learning Management System

HR Operations & Programs (30%)
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of core HR processes in Lattice
  • Own and manage the People Hub, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date content
  • Generate insights through HR reporting and analytics to inform business decisions
  • Establish and manage the quarterly engagement pulse survey process
  • Handle employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Create and maintain system documentation and training materials


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including business partnership and talent acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and influence decisions
  • Experience translating business strategy into people initiatives
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational dynamics
  • Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting
  • Proficiency in HRIS and ATS systems (Preferably, Lattice, ADP and Greenhouse)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management and process improvement capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Lattice or similar HRIS platforms
  • Background in HR analytics and reporting
  • Experience in retail or consumer goods industry
  • Change management experience
  • Track record of implementing HR technology solutions


BASE SALARY RANGE

This position's annual base salary range ranges from $105,000 to $115,000. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location, and other relevant factors.
