THEROLE IN A NUTSHELL
GreenShield is seeking a strategic and driven Manager, People Technology and Analytics to lead the evolution and optimization of our people technology solutions. Reporting to the Director, People Operations & Solutions, this role will be instrumental in leveraging technology and data to enhance HR processes, improve employee experience, and drive data-driven decision-making.
This role will act as a subject matter expert on all People Technology systems and will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, system optimization, and the development of insightful reporting and analytics. Critically, this role will also serve as the People Analytics Expert, possessing deep technical expertise in ETL, Power Platform, PowerBI, SQL, and MS Fabric to unlock the full potential of GreenShield Canada's people data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable flawless people transactions and continuous improvements on people processes. Ensure that GreenShield Canada is maximizing the value of its people technology investments by optimizing system configurations, workflows, and integrations. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity of Greenshield on People transactions and processes.
  • Drive insightful people analytics: Develop and deliver meaningful reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide data-driven insights into key HR metrics, workforce trends, and areas for improvement. Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for HR and business leaders.
  • Provide expert support and training: Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and training to HR team members and employees on the use of people technology systems and tools. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously research and evaluate emerging HR technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within GreenShield Canada's People & Culture function.
  • Serve as the people analytics expert: Leverage your expertise in ETL, Power Platform, PowerBI, SQL, and MS Fabric to extract, transform, and analyze people data, generating valuable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Enable outcome measurements of key P&C programs: Partner with Center of Excellence (CoE) and Business Partners to ensure high ROI that focuses on commercial impact
  • Vendor cost efficiency and leverage: Act as the focal point for all P&C Technology vendors to drive cost efficiency.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Post-secondary education in Science, Technology or Engineering.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in HR technology, with a focus on HRIS systems, reporting and analytics, and system implementation.
  • Experience with leading HR technology platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and reporting best practices.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop insightful reports and presentations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • A passion for technology and its application in HR.
  • Highly proficient with ETL, Power Platform, PowerBI, SQL, and MS Fabric.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to deliver complex analyses and present insights to senior leadership.
  • Extensive experience in people analytics.
  • Deep understanding of key HR domains including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Development, and DIBs, with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
  • Expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and data visualization, to identify trends and influence business outcomes.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive innovation, and continuously improve analytics capabilities in response to business needs.
  • Proven success in partnering with senior executives to drive talent strategy and organizational change through data.
